Sales Engineer

For organizations with ineffective processes and scattered information, DocLink by Beyond Limits, provides an intelligent document hub that captures critical data for processing & accessibility. Unlike AP focused solutions, DocLink allows organizations to connect data from externally generated documents, internal business systems, and information from employees to make faster, smarter and more informed decisions.

Job Responsibilities

We'll need you to design, architect and deliver high quality billable product-related services to customers and business partners in the area of application, installation and integration of our propriety document management software, DocLink. 

Be a part of a team of highly technical Solution\Sales Engineers who drive revenue through open communication with Sales Directors, Clients, Business Development Managers, Marketing, Development, and Project Management.

• Act as the subject matter expert on business processes and discovery calls and translate this into an effective demo presented to the client.
• Generate estimates and statements of work for new and existing customer installations, upgrades, and server migrations to the cloud. 
• Be familiar with cloud terminology and be able to lead technical calls for those using DocLink on premise. 
• Consult with clients to analyze and understand functions to be automated, client needs, objectives, desired features and input and output requirements.
• Analyze, define and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs. 
• Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding problems, features, or questions in regard to the various integrations we support.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings in order to deliver services and to enable the transfer of skills to the personnel of DocLink business partners and customers.
• Train end users and technical support staff.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong skills, tact, business process knowledge, and diplomacy in dealing with discovery calls and can translate that into a preliminary estimate 
• Ability to demonstrate DocLink demos by addressing the issues the client is trying to address  
• Strong written communication skills 
• A technical degree (B.S) and minimum of two years of sales engineer experience 
• Hands-on experience with SQL Query and MS SQL Server and with one or more network and routing protocols 
• Present the DocLink solution at conferences, and build relationships with local user groups, value added resellers (VARs), and prospects
• Experience with using Virtual Machines to demonstrate our product 
• Working knowledge of Citrix or Terminal Services 
• Hands-on experience with Applications a major plus (technical level) (Amtech, Epicor, Epicor Prophet21, Epicor Enterprise, Dynamics GP, Dynamics SL, Dynamics Navision, Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 100(MAS90/200), Key2Act, Sage 300 (AccPac), Sage 500 (MAS500), Sage X3, Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, Acumatica) 
• Enjoys and is willing to travel 50%
